Lisa F. Crites is a medical journalist, patented inventor, and award-winning entrepreneur whose life took an extraordinary turn following the sudden passing of her mother and a subsequent breast cancer diagnosis requiring a bilateral mastectomy. Rather than allowing grief and illness to define her future, she channeled those experiences into a compassion-driven medical innovation that has helped patients worldwide.

With more than 30 years of experience in health and medical journalism and corporate communications, Crites began her television career as the original health and medical news anchor and reporter for Central Florida News 13 in Orlando. Her work has been featured by Forbes, Reader's Digest, The Huffington Post, FOX News, CBS, NBC, CNN, and Lifetime Television's The Balancing Act.
